My focus on this page is to touch on popular neighborhoods that tend to have a reasonable amount of inventory. There are many fantastic smaller neighborhoods in the area and as time goes by, I will add more of my favorites. If you’d like an statistical analysis on these communities, or have a suggestion to add your area to my tour, please contact me and ask!

North Raleigh

Falls River is a popular North Raleigh Planned Community, with a convenient location to 540 Hwy, hospital, shopping, restaurants and schools. Falls River has been one of the most successful neighborhoods in the entire Triangle area since its inception and was the start of many copy cat neighborhoods in other parts of county due to its enormous success. Fantastic amenities include tree lined streets, two-sided sidewalks, miles of walking/biking trails, soccer field, and a 2 acre park (Oakboro) in the center of this community great. There's a private swimming club inside Falls River you may join, which has lighted tennis courts, sand volley court, playground, large clubhouse, Olympic pool with separate kids pool and an 80 foot water slide! A large village shopping center with shopping, doctors, and several restaurants is adjacent to the community. Falls River is also convenient to Falls Lake, the Neuse River and dam. Bedford @ Falls River and Bedford Estates is a popular North Raleigh Planned Community, with convenient location to 540 Hwy, hospital, shopping, restaurants and schools. Bedford (including "The Estates") is Award Winning community which is basically a more expensive version/continuation of the adjacent and also extremely popular Falls River; however, it has a completely separate HOA and developer. Fantastic amenities included in the HOA dues are tree lined streets, two-sided sidewalks, miles of walking/biking trails, parks for kids, lighted tennis courts, basketball courts and large clubhouse great for large parties, Olympic pool with separate kids pool, large water slide and a village with shopping/restaurants inside the community. Wakefield Plantation is a large planned community north of Falls River and Bedford in North Raleigh/Wake Forest. Wakefield has an 18 hole TPC golf course and separate 9 hole walking course. The TPC offers all the amenities you'd expect from a private sports club. Wakefield is located close to Falls Lake and the Neuse River dam, and offers many fun activities such as water sports, motor boating, fly fishing, canoeing, sailing, etc. Wakefield has its own public schools including 3 elementary, one middle school, a 9th grade center and one high school. Wakefield has a YMCA(with climbing wall and racket ball courts) and is close to shopping, many restaurants, doctors and a large state of the art movie theater. Wake Forest and North Wake County

Heritage Wake Forest is a large planned community in Wake Forest. You can view the community map here. Heritage is located close to downtown Wake Forest with beautiful 18 hole golf course and multiple pools. Heritage took the Falls River concept with craftsman style homes and front porches and added a golf course. This heavily wooded neighborhood enjoys close proximity to shopping, The Factory (unique kids sports, arts and entertainment complex) and is ~ 30 minutes to downtown Raleigh. Heritage is a mixed use neighborhood with a variety of price points and property types. Go here to see all the current active listings for Heritage

Midtown Raleigh (used to be considered a part of North Raleigh, is a residential and commercial area just north of the I-440 Beltline. It is framed by Glenwood/Creedmoor Road to the West, Wake Forest Road to the East, and Millbrook Road to the North) Crabtree Valley Mall and North Hills are considered part of Midtown.

North Hills and North Hills Estates subdivision is an older area of Midtown Raleigh, located close and between North Hills Mall and Crabtree Valley. Built in the 1960's this area offers a variety of ranch, two stories and split level homes. Large wooded lots and a short walk to one of best shopping centers in the area make North Hills a highly desirable area. Cary and Morrisville Area

Carolina Preserve by Del Webb at Amberly is located in the heart of the Triangle Area. Close to Chapel Hill, Durham and Raleigh, its great location for your active lifestyle.
